Microsoft and SAP have joined efforts in developing Duet to manage business processes and daily tasks of employees, to be implemented on top of Microsoft Office applications. In 2008 FIT became Co-Operant Partner with SAP Turkey regarding Netweaver Solutions.

Live e-ticketing portal at IDO BISARES

January 2009 - SAP Turkey and ABH have, together with FIT, started developing an online ticketing portal in 2008. This portal went live on January 1st, 2009, and has been successfully operating since then. This portals enables ferry travellers to book and purchase tickets online, a graphical interface has been designed to allow them to select the required seat on the boat.

SAP Forum 2009 - OPEN and CLEAR

Conventional SAP Forum Event which is organized by SAP Turkey will take place on 16th October at Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center. FIT participated this event as Hall Sponsor at our 10th Anniversary.

Turkey's first Web Dynpro solution!

FIT consultants are the first in Turkey to realise digital signatures to enable central access from the Temsa portal to all SAP R/3 transactions, by using Java and Web Dynpro technologies on the strategic Netweaver plaform from SAP.

At first, serious problems were detected as a result of the use of an ITS-request to allow access to SAP. By adopting Web Dynpro technologies it has been made possible to implement the required improvements regarding performance and security of for example Excel imports and screen design.

To meet the client's requirements, an FIT Java developer has created a solution in Java to optimize the communication with SAP.

This solution can be summarized as follows;

Performance: Applications perform better because of the installation of the SAP Portal Server.
Security: Authentication takes place via the SAP Portal solution.
Desktop Integration: Excel functions, e.g. data transmission.
Theme:The Portal enables the integration of different applications with Web Dynpro Technologies. The user interface of the portal can be completely customized according to the wishes of the client.
Java-support: Platform-independent Java technologies for a wide range of solutions.
