TOFAŞ BusinessObject Project
altTOFAŞ started using BusinessObjects. FIT and TOFAŞ have decided to realise the BusinessObjects project together.  According to agreement, first the sales system has been installed on top of Oracle, after this, the FIT BI team has developed the reporting infrastructure on SAP side, via BI products.

The Koç Groep is founded in 1968 by the late Vehbi Koç, a real entrepreneur, including the Koç Holding and Fiat S.p.A., which are equal shareholders of Tofaş, nowadays FIT Auto with 3 strategic production centres world wide. Tofaş is very valuable for the competitive position of the Turkish Automotive industry; the factories in Bursa produce the Doblo and the Minicargo projects of Fiat and represent the face of the brand, just like the Fiorino models and don't forget the compact sedan model Fiat Linea, this is also produced by the Koç Holding and exported across the world. Koç Holding is the only Turkish producer of personal cars that has global expansion.

The production cycle of Tofaş delivers an important contribution to the automotive value chain, and to the Turkish economie and employment rate, even the global automotive industry pays attention to this Turkish representation of these important brands. Fiat cars and company models, brands like Alfa Romeo and Lancia, and also brands like Ferrari and Maserati are represented under one roof and sold across Turkey. Tofaş also offers, as only company outside Italy, international after-sales services for all brands associated to the Fiat Group.
